Lorna's At The Grange
Lorna's At The Grange is in Mosser, near Loweswater in Cumbria. It's a ground-floor apartment in a 17th-century stone cottage. It's spacious inside.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so think clean and comfortable more than luxurious. The flat is all open plan, so it's one big living space with a kitchen at one end. There's a patio area and gardens you can use, and you can just about see the lake from there.
Loweswater itself is only about a ten-minute walk away, down a quiet lane. It's one of the smaller lakes. You can walk from there around to Crummock Water and Buttermere easily. It's a quiet spot, good for proper walking without the crowds you get near the bigger towns.
There's a pub about two miles away. They brew their own beer called Loweswater Gold.
For shops and places to eat, Cockermouth is seven miles. It's got a good high street with independent shops. Keswick is about twelve miles, which has all the usual things a busy Lake District town has. The coast at St Bees is thirteen miles if you want a change from the fells.
