West Fells Cottage

West Fells Cottage is in Rowrah, on the western edge of the Lake District. It's a modern, detached house, set back from the road so it's quiet.

It sleeps six, maybe seven with the bunks. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. The master has an en-suite. One of the bathrooms has a spa bath and a steam shower. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.

There's a pub 175 yards from the gate, and a restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. The local shop is three quarters of a mile.

Downstairs there's a cinema room with four massage chairs and bean bags. The conservatory has a steam room. Outside, there's a hot tub, a big timber shed with a pool table and darts, and a small hobbit house with a firepit.

The garden is lawned and enclosed, with a patio.

You're about two miles from the boundary of the Lake District National Park. Ennerdale Water is close, about four miles. It's one of the quieter lakes. Loweswater and Crummock Water are within a short drive. The coast isn't far either. Whitehaven is seven miles, and St Bees Head is under ten.

Cockermouth is about nine miles away. It's a nice market town with shops and places to eat. Wordsworth's house is there if you're interested, and Jennings Brewery does tours.

Rowrah has a go-kart track, if that's your sort of thing.

Facilities: It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's parking. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, cot and highchair are here. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three pets.
