Kingswood is in Whitehaven. It's a detached house about a ten minute walk from the centre of town. You can see the sea from a couple of the windows.
The house sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is spacious with high ceilings, and it keeps a lot of its original features. The stairs are a standard staircase.
The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen doors open onto a decked garden area. There's parking on the drive.
You're close to the harbour and The Beacon Museum. For a swim, there's the indoor pool in town. St Bees beach and headland are about five miles away. That's also where the Coast to Coast walk starts.
The Lake District National Park boundary is about a five minute drive away. Ennerdale is nearby and feels very quiet. The nearest lake for walking is Wasdale, with Scafell Pike at the head of it. Buttermere and Crummock Water are a bit further but worth the drive.
There's a shop, a pub, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The house can take up to four dogs.
