Farm Cottage
This is Farm Cottage. It's on a dairy farm in Bigrigg, Cumbria. It's detached, so it's just you.
Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with two singles. One bathroom. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The main thing is it's quiet. You're on a farm, so you'll see cows in the fields. The only noise is the birds and the cows. The owner lives on site if you need anything.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner, a dining room, and a kitchen. There's a utility room with a washing machine. You get bedding and towels. There's a patio with furniture and a bit of lawn.
Bigrigg village is about half a mile walk. There's a shop and a pub there. The pub does food.
You're in a good spot here. The coast at St Bees is about three miles away. That's a sandy beach and the start of the Coast to Coast walk. Egremont is two and a half miles for more shops. The Lake District National Park boundary is about three miles east. Ennerdale Water is seven miles. For a big day out, Scafell Pike is within a half hour drive. Whitehaven harbour is north, about a twenty minute drive.
