Seacote Gardens is a semi-detached house in St Bees. It's a quiet spot, a proper village rather than a town. You get a good sea view from the front.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a downstairs loo and shower, and a bathroom upstairs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
The beach is about two hundred yards away. It's a shingle and sand beach. There's a cafe there for a simple bite to eat. The RNLI station is right next to it. The path along the cliffs to the RSPB reserve starts from the beach. RSPB St Bees Head is good for seabirds. It's also the start of the Coast to Coast Walk.
The village has a shop and a couple of places to eat, all within a few minutes' walk. The golf course is just up the road.
If you want to go further out, Whitehaven is about ten minutes by car. There's a supermarket and the Beacon Museum there. The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is about half an hour's drive. Muncaster Castle is on the way there. The Lake District National Park boundary is a short drive inland. You can be at the foot of Wastwater, or in Keswick, in well under an hour.
The house has parking for one car on the drive. There's WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. It says it's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the main living space is upstairs from there, just so you know. You can bring one dog.
