The Dairy is in St Bees. It's a converted farm dairy, all on the ground floor. You can park right outside.
It sleeps three. There’s one bedroom with a double bed, and a single bed in the living area. One bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything is new since 2020, so it's clean and works properly. The floor is tiled throughout because it was a dairy, but there are rugs.
It’s very handy for the village. The shop is about a minute's walk. There’s a pub literally across the quiet lane, and another one and a restaurant a hundred yards away.
St Bees beach is about a fifteen minute walk. It’s a good beach, with the cliffs. You can walk from there along the coast path. The start of the Coast to Coast walk is here.
It’s a working farm, so you’ll see sheep. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is useful.
For a day out, Whitehaven is about ten minutes by car. The Lake District National Park starts just inland from here. Ennerdale Water is about a twenty minute drive. If you head south, you’re on the Cumbrian coast.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a Smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
