Quayside7 is a third-floor apartment on Whitehaven harbour. The lift works, so you don't have to use the stairs.
It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside. The main thing is the view. You get two balconies looking right over the harbour and out to sea. On a clear day, you can see Scotland.
One bedroom has an en-suite shower. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
You're right in the middle of Whitehaven. There are supermarkets, shops, pubs, and places to eat all within a few minutes' walk. You don't really need the car unless you're going out of town. The Beacon Museum is just down on the harbour.
For walks, you can go straight from the door along the cliffs at St Bees Head. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. That's also the start of the Coast to Coast walk.
If you want the lakes, Ennerdale Water is about a twenty-minute drive. It's one of the quieter ones. The Lake District National Park proper starts about five miles away. Keswick is about half an hour by car.
