Quayside7 is a flat in Whitehaven harbour. It's on the third floor, but there's a lift so that's fine. The main thing is the view. You're right on the harbour, so you look straight out at the boats and the sea. You can even see Scotland on a clear day. It's got two balconies, which is handy.
It sleeps four, in two double bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower, and there's a main bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. It has a dishwasher, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included.
Inside, it's open plan. The living, kitchen, and dining area are all one space, with big windows so it's bright. There's a Smart TV and some home automation stuff if you're into that. The kitchen has decent appliances, including a wine cooler.
Whitehaven itself has everything you need. Supermarkets, shops, pubs, and restaurants are all within walking distance. You won't need to cook if you don't want to. The harbour area has The Beacon Museum and The Rum Story. There's also a swimming pool and sports centre in town.
For getting outside, you're right on the coast path. St Bees Head is nearby and it's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. That's also the start of the Coast to Coast walk. The Lake District National Park is about a five mile drive away. Your nearest lake is Ennerdale Water, which is about six miles. It's a quieter part of the Lakes. Loweswater, Crummock Water, and Buttermere are all within about half an hour's drive if you want to explore further.
