Scalelands Cottage
Scalelands Cottage is in Parkside, Cumbria. It's a bungalow, all on one level. It's detached and you can park right outside.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have double beds. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The towel rail is heated.
The living area is open plan, with a sofa, a dining table, and a Smart TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. It's got what you need. The garden at the back is fully enclosed and private. It gets the sun in the evening. The view from there is over fields towards the fells.
You're on the edge of the Lake District National Park here. It's a quiet spot between two villages, each about a mile away. They've got convenience stores and takeaways. There's a pub/restaurant on the main road a quarter of a mile from the cottage.
Ennerdale Water is a five-mile drive. It's one of the quieter lakes. Red squirrels are around there. Whitehaven is about five miles the other way for supermarkets and shops.
The coast at St Bees is six miles. The beach is sandy and the cliff walks are good. For more formal days out, there's golf nearby and the wider Lakes are easily reached.
Things like bedding, towels, and Wi-Fi are included. No pets allowed.
