Lucy's At The Grange
Lucy's At The Grange is in Mosser, near Loweswater. It's a detached bungalow. Sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite.
It was all renovated a few years ago. The idea was to make it easy for a group. Everything's on one level, which is good for accessibility. The main living space is open plan, with doors out to the garden. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
The garden is enclosed. It looks out over fields towards the lake. It's a quiet spot, down a country lane. The lake, Loweswater, is about a ten minute walk away. It's a small one, and quieter than some of the others. You can follow the path round to Crummock Water.
There's a pub about two miles away, the Kirkstile Inn. They do good food and their own beer.
For a bigger town, Cockermouth is about seven miles. It's got a high street with independent shops and places to eat. Whinlatter Forest is eight miles away. Good for walking and mountain biking. Keswick is about twelve miles and has everything you'd need.
The property is rated 4 Star. That means it's well-equipped. It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide a cot and highchair if needed.
