Seascape Cottage
Seascape Cottage is in Allonby, up on the Solway coast. It's a terrace house, looks right out at the sea. You can see the Scottish hills across the water on a clear day.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One king size on the first floor, and a twin room up on the second floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, lots of wood and glass. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect in an old house.
You're about a hundred yards from the beach. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walking. Dogs are allowed, up to two. There's a pub that does food about 175 yards away, a shop about 350 yards, and a well-known ice cream place.
You're about ten miles from the edge of the Lake District National Park. Bassenthwaite Lake is maybe 20 minutes by car. The Lakes Distillery is there, and a wildlife park. Maryport is one way, Silloth the other, both a few miles.
It's got a small sitting area out front. Inside there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
