Hindsgarth

Hindsgarth is in Portinscale. It's a semi-detached house, sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not a show home.

There's a conservatory at the back which looks onto the garden. It's fully enclosed, so it's safe for dogs or kids. The garden gets the sun in the morning.

Portinscale is quiet. It's about a fifteen minute walk along the river into Keswick. Keswick has all the shops, pubs, and places to eat. The theatre is there by the lake.

Derwentwater is very close. You can walk to it. They do boat trips from there, or you can hire rowing boats. The path goes all the way around the lake if you want a long walk.

For walking, Catbells is popular and the start is just across the water. You can get a launch from Keswick. Skiddaw and Blencathra are bigger walks for a proper day out. Whinlatter Forest is about a twenty minute drive, they have mountain biking trails and a Go Ape.

The house has parking for one car on the drive. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. We allow up to two dogs.
