Grisedale View - Hewetson Court
Grisedale View is a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of Hewetson Court in Keswick. It sleeps two people. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a luxury place, but it does the job.
The main thing is the location. You're right in town. There's a shop and a supermarket next door. The centre of Keswick is a two minute walk away. All the pubs, cafes, and shops are there. Derwentwater is about five minutes walk down the hill.
The views from the windows are good. You look out across the rooftops towards the fells. The living area is compact but it's fine for two.
You can walk straight from the door. There are paths along the lake and into the woods. For bigger walks, Skiddaw is behind the town. Catbells is across the lake and is a popular one. The roads do get busy in summer.
Keswick has a market on Thursdays and Sundays. The Theatre by the Lake is on Derwentwater. For a day out, you're in the middle of the Northern Lakes. Borrowdale, Buttermere, and Ullswater are all within half an hour's drive.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, wifi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
