Borrowdale View is a one-bedroom cottage in Threlkeld. It sleeps two. It's a single-storey place, so everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.

You get one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living area is open-plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting room all in one space. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The location is the main thing. You can walk straight out the front door and up Blencathra. You don't need to drive anywhere to start a proper walk. The views from up there are what you'd expect.

Threlkeld village has a couple of pubs. Keswick is about ten minutes away by car for more shops and places to eat.

There's on-site parking for one car. The garden area is shared with the neighbouring cottages. We accept one well-behaved dog. There's also a cot and highchair if you need them.

For other local things, Castlerigg Stone Circle is a short drive away, and you're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Useful links for planning: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
