Latrigg View is a bungalow in Threlkeld. Sleeps five in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. It’s a single-storey layout, so no stairs. That’s good if you don’t want steps.
The front garden is yours. The view looks directly up at Latrigg. It’s a proper mountain view. There’s also a shared garden area with the other cottages on site. You can sit out there if you want.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after. Bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, and parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
From the door, you can walk straight up onto the slopes of Blencathra. The path starts in the village. Threlkeld itself has a couple of pubs. They serve food. There’s a village shop and a tea room.
Keswick is about ten minutes' drive. That’s where you’ll find the bigger supermarkets, lots of places to eat, and the theatre by the lake. Castlerigg Stone Circle is a five-minute drive from here, or a decent walk if you’re keen.
For wider trips, you’re right on the edge of the Northern Fells. You can get to Aira Force waterfall or Dalemain house in under half an hour. Ullswater is about twenty minutes. The National Trust and Lake District National Park sites are useful for planning walks.
There are other cottages next door. They can be booked together if you’re a larger group.
