The Plosh is in Keswick. It's a mid-terrace cottage, one in a row. It's about a hundred yards from the town centre, so it's quiet but you can walk to everything in two minutes.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. The kitchen has a small balcony. The back bedroom and the balcony look out at the fells, Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike. The view is good.
There are steps inside. A couple between rooms. The stairs are normal for a cottage like this.
You're right there for the town. The market square, pubs, shops, restaurants, they're all a short walk. The Theatre by the Lake and the Alhambra Cinema are close. Derwentwater is a few minutes' walk away.
For walks, you can start from the door. Or you can drive. Cat Bells is about ten minutes by car. Borrowdale is fifteen minutes. Honister Pass is twenty. If you want to go further, Buttermere and Ullswater are within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and a highchair. There's space to store bikes. No pets, sorry.
