Cinder Track Hideaway
Cinder Track Hideaway is on the second floor of a building in a quiet cul-de-sac in Whitby. It's got a parking bay for one car.
It's a 4 Star apartment. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Sleeps four. Can take one dog. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Inside it's all on one level. Open plan living area with doors onto a small Juliet balcony. You look out over a big communal lawn at the back. We've seen rabbits out there, sometimes deer. The stairs up to the apartment are inside the main building.
It's about a 15 minute walk down into the centre of Whitby. You can pick up the Cinder Track right by the house. It's a flat path for walking or cycling, goes along the old railway line towards Robin Hood's Bay. Very handy.
In Whitby you've got the harbour, the abbey, and the beach. The Whitby Abbey is up the 199 steps. The town's busy, lots of fish and chip shops.
For a day out, Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes by car. It's a fishing village with steep streets down to the sea. The North York Moors are about a 20 minute drive inland. Scarborough is roughly half an hour down the coast.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a local pub a short walk away.
