This is the Whitby Townhouse. It's on one of the streets just back from the harbour, maybe a five minute walk to the shops and the water.
It's tall. Four floors, so there are a lot of stairs. Something to be aware of if you're bringing anyone with dodgy knees. The bedrooms are spread out over the top three floors. Four bedrooms total, sleeps eight. One of them's a bunk room, good for kids. Two bathrooms, one's an ensuite in the attic.
Inside, it's spacious. High ceilings, big windows. The kitchen is a decent size with a table that seats everyone. It's got a range oven, Belfast sink, all that. There's a utility room off it for coats and boots, which leads to a small enclosed yard. It's got a bench and a barbecue out there.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything you need is there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included. We can take up to two well-behaved dogs.
Location is the main thing. You can walk to everything in Whitby. The beach is about ten minutes. The harbour, the shops, the fish and chip places, they're all on your doorstep. For a longer walk, the Cleveland Way path is right there along the cliffs.
If you want to drive out, Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes south. Staithes is a bit further north. The North York Moors National Park starts just west of town. Scarborough is about forty minutes down the coast.
