Cobweb Cottage
Cobweb Cottage is in Whitby, on a little split-level path with a few other cottages. It's terraced. You can be in the centre of town in a few minutes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, like most cottages round here.
There's an open plan living area with a wood burning stove. It's got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We put in things like a cot and highchair as well. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one dog. There's no private garden but the path outside is quiet.
Whitby harbour, the shops, and plenty of places to eat are all a very short walk away. The abbey ruins and St Mary's church are up the 199 steps. They're worth the climb.
If you want to get out of town, you can get on the North York Moors National Park easily. The steam train to Goathland is good for a day out. The local coast path is right there for walking.
