Cobweb Cottage

Cobweb Cottage is in Whitby, about five minutes' walk up from the harbour. It's one of five cottages in a little ginnel, so it's terraced. You get neighbours, but it's quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. The stairs inside are cottage stairs, steep and a bit narrow.

The front door opens into the ginnel, not onto a street, which is nice. The sitting room has a woodburner. It's open plan with the kitchen. It's cosy, not huge, but fine for four.

There's a shop and a pub about twenty yards away. The harbour, with the boats and the fish and chip shops, is a short walk downhill. Whitby Abbey is up the 199 steps from there. You can get onto the Cleveland Way coastal path easily.

It's good for the town events like the Goth Weekends or Folk Week, because you can just walk in. The steam train to Goathland leaves from the station, which is about a fifteen minute walk.

Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
