Seaside Cottage is in Whitby. It's a listed cottage from 1905, so you get the original features but also some modern updates. It's on a small, quiet cobbled street so you're away from the main traffic, but the main town and harbour are only a couple of minutes walk away.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one shower room. Two double rooms and a twin room upstairs in the attic. The attic room has beams and a sloping ceiling, which means you might bump your head if you're tall. The stairs are steep in parts, again because it's an old cottage. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You have your own parking space right outside. That's a real advantage in Whitby where parking can be difficult.
There's a small kitchen with a dining table. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. There's an electric car charger outside.
You can bring up to two dogs.
The beach is about a five minute walk. It's a proper sandy beach that stretches for miles towards Sandsend. For walks, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Whitby Abbey is up the famous 199 steps. The National Trust has a few sites along the coast.
Within about thirty minutes you can drive to Robin Hood's Bay, which is another fishing village with narrow lanes. Staithes is similar. The North York Moors Railway steam trains go from Whitby or nearby Pickering. Scarborough is about forty minutes south.
