Whistle Stop is in Ruswarp, which is just outside Whitby, maybe a mile or so. It's an apartment, but it's on the ground floor overlooking the station platform. You've got your own gated entrance.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath, the other is just a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating. Everything is new and works as it should.
The village has a pub on the green, a shop, and a butchers. You can hire rowing boats on the river here too. There's a little railway for kids.
Whitby is five minutes in the car, or you can walk it along the river path if you fancy. It's got all the usual stuff: the abbey, the steps, fish and chips, the lot. The steam train to Pickering goes from Grosmont, which is about a fifteen minute drive.
You're well placed here. The coast road south takes you to Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough. Head inland and you're in the North York Moors in no time.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and an electric car charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. No pets, sorry.
