Brook Cottage

This is Brook Cottage. It's just outside Sleights, which is a village near Whitby.

It's a single storey lodge, all on the ground floor. Sleeps two, one bedroom with a double bed, and a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean inside. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen at one end. It has the things you need.

Outside there's a private garden you can sit in. You get one parking space.

The place is on the edge of the village. There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away. The bus to Whitby stops nearby, and Sleights train station is about a ten minute walk. The Esk Valley line runs through there, it's a nice scenic route.

Whitby is about four miles away for the beach and the harbour. The steam train for the North York Moors Railway goes from there. You can get it to Goathland or Pickering.

You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park for walking. The coast path is easy to get to as well.

Facilities include a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair friendly. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
