Brook Cottage
Brook Cottage is in Sleights, about three miles from Whitby. It’s a single storey lodge, so everything is on the ground floor. It's good for two people.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It’s clean and well-kept. There’s one bedroom, a shower room, and an open plan living area with a kitchen. The kitchen has what you need. The doors open out to a private patio with a bit of garden.
The bus stop for Whitby is a short walk away. Sleights train station is about half a mile. The train along the Esk Valley to Middlesbrough is a nice ride. The steam train from Whitby to Pickering on the North York Moors Railway goes past nearby. You can hear it sometimes.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about ten minutes walk. Whitby is three miles for the beach and the harbour. For walking, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive.
