The Garden Apartment is on Captain's Row in Whitby. It's a one-bedroom apartment for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing is the view. You're up the hill a bit, so you look out over the harbour. There's a table in the bay window where you can sit and watch it. The living room is open plan and has one of the original Victorian fireplaces, though it's not in use. The kitchen is separate and small. It has a two-ring hob and an oven. The bedroom is a good size with a double bed. The shower room is modern.
You have your own garden and a dedicated parking space. That's a big plus in Whitby. The steam trains for the North York Moors Railway go past on the line below the garden. You can hear them, but it's not constant.
You can walk to most things. The beach, the harbour, the shops, and the abbey are all about ten minutes walk downhill. The town is busy, with cobbled streets and plenty of pubs and restaurants. A local pub is a few minutes away.
If you want to drive out, the North York Moors are right there. Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes by car. Scarborough is about forty minutes. The property can be booked with another one next door if you're a larger group.
Facilities included are WiFi, bedding and towels, a cot, and the parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
