The Garden Apartment
The Garden Apartment is in Whitby, on Captain's Row. It's a first-floor flat with its own garden below. That garden and the living room window have an elevated view right over the harbour. You can sit at the dining table and watch the boats.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is a decent size with original features like a Victorian fireplace. The kitchen is separate but compact. It's got a small oven and a two-ring hob, so it's fine for basics but not for big meals.
The best thing is probably the parking. You get your own designated space, which is a real help in Whitby. The beach, the harbour, the shops, and the Abbey are all about five minutes' walk away. The steam trains for the North York Moors Railway pass right by the bottom of the garden.
You can walk to a pub and restaurant in a few minutes. The town has everything you need. If you want to explore, the North York Moors are on the doorstep. Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes' drive south.
Facilities: there's WiFi, the bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two pets. It says local fishing and golf, but you'd need to look that up for the specifics.
