Cor Cottage is on Church Street in old Whitby. It's terraced, built in the early 1700s, and it used to be a fisherman's place. You go in through Arguments Yard, which is a cobbled alley. That yard is famous locally and gets photographed a lot.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up, but it's still an old cottage.
You're right in the middle of things. The shop, a pub, and restaurants are about fifty yards away. Tate Hill Sand Beach is one minute's walk. You've also got direct access to the harbour from the property.
At the back, there's a private patio with some garden furniture. It's enclosed and gets the sun.
There is parking. You get one free parking space for your whole stay. It's about a fifteen minute walk from the cottage. You can stop right outside on Church Street to unload, but you can't leave the car there. The street is cobbled and can be busy.
From the front door, Church Street leads straight to the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey. The Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track walking routes start nearby. For the North York Moors, you drive about twenty minutes inland.
You can be at Robin Hood's Bay in fifteen minutes by car. Staithes is about half an hour away. Scarborough is forty minutes down the coast.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
