The Hyding Hole
The Hyding Hole is a one bedroom apartment in Whitby. It sleeps two people. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's on the ground floor in a terraced row, off Hyding Yard. You're right at the bottom of Pannett Park. It's a nice green space to wander into.
The apartment is open plan. There's a kitchenette, a dining table, and a corner sofa by the fireplace. The bedroom is through one door, the shower room through another. There's a big wardrobe in the main room to store your things. The windows are the old sash type.
Outside the front door is a communal area with some picnic benches. It gets the sun.
Parking is free on the street, but it's not right outside. You'll need to walk about five minutes to find a space. That's normal for this part of Whitby.
You're perfectly placed to walk everywhere in Whitby. The harbour, the bridge, the abbey steps, all the shops and pubs are a short walk away. It's a busy area, especially in season.
We allow up to two dogs. Whitby is very dog friendly. Lots of pubs and cafes let them in, and there are beaches they can use.
If you want to drive out, Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes south. Sandsend is a few minutes north. The North Yorkshire Moors are right there inland. Scarborough is about forty minutes down the coast.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. The shower is electric.
