There's a shared outdoor area at the front with picnic benches. It's a sunny spot. Parking is free on the street, about a five-minute walk away.
The apartment is right in town. You can walk to everything in Whitby. The harbour, the shops, the abbey. It's great if you don't want to use the car. A couple of local pubs are dog friendly if you bring yours.
You can take dogs on the beach at Sandsend, which is just north. Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes by car south. For a longer walk, the Cleveland Way path is right there on the cliffs.
If you want to go inland, the North York Moors are about half an hour's drive. The moors are good for a proper walk. You can drive to Goathland, which is the TV Heartbeat village.
Facilities included: all bedding and towels, WiFi, TV, a washing machine. You can bring up to two dogs.
