Sunnyside Cottage

Sunnyside Cottage is in Whitby. It's on the west side of town, a short walk from the harbour and the 199 steps up to the Abbey. The beach that leads to Sandsend is about a ten minute walk.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is over three floors, so there are a lot of stairs. They're normal cottage stairs, a bit steep and winding.

The living room is at the front, it's a snug size. There's an open-plan kitchen and dining room at the back that leads out to a small, enclosed yard. It's got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.

You can bring one dog. There's a highchair, a cot, and a stairgate if you need them.

There's a micro pub just along the street that does local gins and beers. A famous bakery is nearby too. For fish and chips, you've got plenty of places to choose from down by the harbour.

If you want to get out of town, the North York Moors are right there. You can get the heritage steam train from Whitby station into the park. North York Moors National Park has good information for walks. Scarborough is about a 40 minute drive, York is just over an hour.
