Puzzle Corner
Puzzle Corner is a terraced house in Sandsend. It's about 50 yards from the beach. You can see the sea from the two front bedrooms and the living room upstairs. It does mean the main road is right outside, so you will hear cars.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The shower is downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, which means everything is there and in good order. It's comfortable, not grand.
The village is small. There's a shop 200 yards away that sells basics and local pies. The pub is even closer, about 100 yards. It does food. If you want a restaurant meal, there's one just up the road too. There are a couple of cafes right on the beach.
For walking, you're on the Cleveland Way. It runs along the cliffs here. Whitby is a couple of miles along the coast. That's where you'll find the Abbey, the shops, and the fish and chips. It gets busy.
If you drive, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay are about 15 minutes away. They're old fishing villages with steep streets. The North York Moors start just behind the house. For a good walk inland, Falling Foss waterfall is about a 20 minute drive.
What's in the house: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair out if you need them. No pets. There's on-street parking outside, which is usually fine.
