This is Dawns Gem. It's a flat on the second floor of a Victorian house in Whitby. It looks out over a quiet square and the front rooms have a view of St Hilda's Church. The back rooms look straight out to sea, which is nice.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and each one has its own shower room, which is handy. The rating is 3 Star. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The flat is on West Cliff. The beach, the Pavilion theatre, and the swimming pool are all down the hill. You can walk it, but there's also a cliff lift about a hundred yards away if you'd rather not. A shop and a couple of places to eat are about five minutes walk.
Whitby's all there for you, really. Boat trips, the Abbey, fossil hunting on the beach. The North York Moors Railway starts in town. If you drive, places like Robin Hood's Bay are about fifteen minutes away. The North York Moors themselves are right there.
In the flat, there's WiFi and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
