High Nook is in Fylingthorpe. It's about a five minute walk from the middle of the village.
It was a sea captain's house a long time ago. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a garden out the front with a bit of decking and a barbecue. The driveway is big. You can park there.
Inside, it's spacious. The living room has a wood burner and a big bay window. The kitchen has marble worktops and a dining table. There's a sunroom with another table and a sofa, looking out at the garden.
Two of the bedrooms are twins. The main bedroom has views of the cliffs and the sea. The stairs are normal.
In the village, there's a pub that does food, and a little shop. Robin Hood's Bay is about a twenty minute walk down the hill. The North York Moors National Park is right there for walking. The Cleveland Way path goes along the clifftops. The old railway line, the Cinder Track, is good for bikes or a flat walk.
Whitby is about a fifteen minute drive south. Scarborough is about half an hour south. To the north, Staithes and Runswick Bay are within half an hour. National Trust Yorkshire has details on a few of those spots.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
