High Nook

High Nook is in Fylingthorpe, which is just above Robin Hood's Bay. It's the old sea captain's house up on the hill. You get the views from there, down over the fields towards the cliffs.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious, more of a house than a cottage really. The stairs are fine.

The garden is enclosed, with a deck and a lawn. There's a proper driveway for parking. Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner, a big kitchen, and a sunroom with another table. The main bedroom looks out towards the sea.

The village centre is a four minute walk. There's a pub that does food and has a garden, and a corner shop. Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen or twenty minute walk down the hill. It's all cobbles and old houses, right on the sea.

You're on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. For walking, the Cleveland Way runs along the cliffs. The Cinder Track is good for bikes or walks too, it goes to Whitby.

Whitby is about fifteen minutes by car. Scarborough is maybe half an hour south. Staithes and Runswick Bay are to the north, within half an hour. The National Trust has a lot of the coastline here.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
