Sharrowhead Cottage
Sharrowhead Cottage is in Robin Hood's Bay. It's one of the old fishermen's cottages right down near the bottom of the village, so you're on a little alleyway. The beach is at the end of the lane, literally a minute's walk away. You're about fifty yards from pubs and the little shop.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but it's not a show home. It's a proper old cottage with low beams in places, so mind your head. The stairs are steep, like they are in all these cottages.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, and the bedding is included. The wifi works.
Whitby is about ten minutes drive up the coast. You can get the steam train from there to Goathland and Pickering if you like that sort of thing. The North York Moors are right there for walks. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a day trip to the city.
