Bee's Cottage is in Staintondale, which is inland from the coast near Scarborough. It's a semi-detached cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's done to a high standard. There's a welcome pack when you arrive, with eggs from the hens here.
The garden is enclosed and private, with a patio and a hot tub. There's parking on site. Horses are kept in the fields around the cottage. You can bring your own horse if you arrange it beforehand.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. Everything is on one level. Bedding and towels are included, and the WiFi works.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile away. The nearest shop is five miles, so it's best to come with supplies. The coast is about three miles away.
Whitby is a 20-minute drive. It's got the abbey, the harbour, and a long beach. For a good walk, the Cleveland Way runs along the cliffs here. Scarborough is about half an hour south.
If you like wildlife, Bempton Cliffs are about a 30-minute drive. They have a lot of seabirds, including puffins in season. The North York Moors are inland for walking.
