Bee's Cottage is in Staintondale, which is inland from Robin Hood's Bay. It's a semi-detached cottage. There's one bedroom, so it's just for two people. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
The garden is enclosed and private. There's a patio with a hot tub. The owners have horses in the fields around the cottage. You can bring your own horse on holiday if you arrange it with them beforehand.
It's a rural spot. The local pub and a restaurant are about a mile away. The nearest shop is five miles. It's very quiet at night.
The coast is about three miles away. Robin Hood's Bay is close, and Whitby is a 20-minute drive. Whitby has the abbey, the harbour, and a long beach. For a longer stretch of sand, Sandsend is good. The North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep for walking.
If you're interested in wildlife, the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about half an hour's drive. You can see seabirds like gannets and puffins there.
Facilities wise: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
This cottage can be booked with the two next door if you're coming as a larger group.
