The Old Barn
The Old Barn is in Cloughton, on the road between Scarborough and Whitby. It's detached. The garden is big and looks out over the fields. You get rabbits and the occasional deer.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been finished to a high standard. They've kept some of the original stone walls inside, which is nice.
The garden has seating, a barbecue, and a hot tub. The living room has a wood burner and big doors that open straight outside. There are two steps up from the living room to the dining area, just so you know.
There are two pubs in the village, about a five-minute walk. The local shop is half a mile. The coast path, the Cleveland Way, runs through here. A good walk is down to Hayburn Wyke, which is a wood with a waterfall that goes straight onto the beach. There's an old pub down there too.
For a bigger day out, Whitby is twenty minutes by car. Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes. Scarborough is ten minutes the other way. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. For walking or cycling, Dalby Forest is about half an hour inland.
It's got parking for two cars. All bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. WiFi is included. No pets, sorry.
