The Bluebell

The Bluebell is a flat near Scarborough. It's one of the Scalby View Apartments. They were built in 2022. It's set back from the main Scarborough to Whitby road.

It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and in good order. It's all on the ground floor. You have your own enclosed patio area out the back.

Inside it's open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a sitting area with a TV, and a dining table. The bedroom has a double bed and wardrobes. It's bright, with big windows and doors to the patio. We provide bedding and towels. A travel cot and highchair are here if you need them.

The flat has its own designated parking space.

You're in Scalby village. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance that do food. The Daisy tea rooms has a garden. Scarborough's North Bay is about two miles away for the beach.

For walks, you're well placed. The Cleveland Way national trail is close by. The old Cinder Track is a flat path along the old railway line, good for cycling or walking into Scarborough or out towards Whitby. For a specific local walk, Hayburn Wyke is a woodland path down to a secluded cove with a waterfall.

Within about half an hour's drive you've got a lot. North up the coast is Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. South is Filey and Flamborough Head. The North York Moors are right behind you. Bempton Cliffs, run by the RSPB, is where you can see seabirds like puffins. The Alpamare Waterpark and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre are a five-minute drive away.
