The Cottage
The Cottage is part of our house on the farm here at Lind Head. It's attached, but you have your own front door and it's private. The main thing is the view out the front, over our fields and the valley. It's really good.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star. It’s comfortable and clean, not high-end. You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes hear tractors. We can usually provide fresh eggs.
You're right in the North York Moors National Park. The coast at Whitby is about a 20 minute drive. For a walk from the door, you can just head up onto the moor. The nearest pub is a mile and a half away. The village shop is three miles.
If you want to go out, Whitby is the big one for most people. Robin Hood's Bay is a bit further. For walking, the Cleveland Way National Trail runs along the coast. Inland, you've got places like Goathland and the railway. All of that is within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a wood burning stove, a washing machine, a patio with a barbecue, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Pets are welcome, up to two.
