Town House Ii

Town House Two is on a street in Scarborough, about a ten minute walk from the North Bay beach. It's a tall town house, so there are quite a few stairs inside. It sleeps twelve people across six bedrooms. The main thing is that every bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower. They all have TVs too.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. The back patio is enclosed and that's where the hot tub is. The patio gets some sun, but it's north facing so it's not a sun trap all day.

You're close to town. The main shops and the indoor market are a few minutes' walk. There's a supermarket about 200 yards away for basics. A couple of pubs are around the corner, one does decent food. The Scarborough cricket ground is right there if you're visiting during a match.

For the beach, North Bay is quieter. South Bay is the classic seaside with arcades and donkeys. You can walk between the two along Marine Drive, which is flat. Peasholm Park is on the way to North Bay. It's nice for a stroll. They do the model boat battles on the lake in the summer.

Within half an hour's drive you've got the North York Moors for walking, and Whitby. Whitby's a proper fishing town with the abbey and good fish and chips. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about 25 minutes away if you want to see seabirds. York is just over an hour if you fancy a day trip.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on street, you usually find a space nearby but it's not guaranteed.
