Yew Tree Cottage
Yew Tree Cottage is in West Ayton, just outside Scarborough. It's detached. It's on the edge of our farm, so there are fields, sheep, and horses next door. The views from the back are over fields towards Ayton Castle.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs, and two bathrooms, one downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are fairly steep, like in a lot of these older places.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is handmade. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
The garden at the back is private, with decking and furniture. It's enclosed.
The pub is about 75 yards away, they do food. There's a shop 250 yards away.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, so walking and cycling is on the doorstep. The Tour de Yorkshire route goes through here. Dalby Forest is close by for cycling trails. Scarborough is about four and a half miles away for the beach and things like the Alpamare Waterpark. You can get to the coast, the moors, and places like Whitby or Pickering within half an hour.
