Dragon Fly Cottage
Dragon Fly Cottage is in Brompton by Sawdon. It's one of a few cottages on our working farm. The views over the fields are good, nothing in the way.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main room is open plan with the kitchen.
There's a shop about five minutes walk away. They sell wine as well. The local pub is about two and a half miles drive.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. For walking, you can just step out. Thornton-le-Dale and Pickering are a short drive. You can get the steam train from Pickering. It goes through to Whitby or Goathland.
Whitby is about half an hour by car. Scarborough is a similar distance. Dalby Forest is close, maybe ten minutes. Good for cycling.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, which we provide logs for. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
