This is Milly’s Cottage. It’s in East Ayton, which is a small village just outside Scarborough. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors.
The cottage is for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and well looked after. The garden is enclosed, which is handy. You can park on the drive.
There’s a local shop and a petrol station almost opposite. A pub is a short walk down the road. They do good food.
You’re about a ten minute drive from Scarborough. The beach is there, and the castle. For a bigger beach, Filey is about twenty minutes south. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is worth the drive if you like seabirds.
You’re well placed for the North York Moors. The steam railway from Pickering to Whitby is a good day out. Dalby Forest is about twenty minutes away for walking or cycling.
We accept two well-behaved dogs. A lot of places around here are dog friendly.
Included in the price: all utilities, WiFi, a TV, bedding and towels. There’s a shower.
