The Pavilion is in Killerby, near Cayton Bay in North Yorkshire. It's a detached building that used to be a pavilion in the grounds of Killerby Hall. It looks out over the Hall's gardens and the fields. You share the garden area with the other cottage here.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means the standard is high. It's a luxury property, nicely done up.
The local shop is about half a mile away. The nearest pub is a mile.
Cayton Bay is the closest beach, about ten minutes by car. It's good for surfing. Scarborough is about fifteen minutes away. It's your classic seaside town, with a harbour, beaches, and the castle. Filey is a bit smaller and quieter, maybe twenty minutes away.
If you want to explore further, Robin Hood's Bay is just over an hour's drive. Whitby is a bit further, maybe an hour and a half. York and Harrogate are both within an hour's drive too.
The North York Moors National Park starts not far from here. You can get the steam train from Pickering. The RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about forty minutes away.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a cot if you need one and parking on site. There's a BBQ and garden furniture. No pets allowed.
