Upper Floors At The Lawns

It's called Upper Floors At The Lawns. It's the top two floors of a big Edwardian house in Filey. You're on a quiet back street, but it's only a minute's walk to the shops and another minute to the beach. Really handy.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, which is good for a group. There's parking for one car on the drive, and you can usually find a space on the road too.

The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, good quality, clean. Not poky. The garden is shared, but there's a patio bit for you to use.

Filey is a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is massive, five miles of sand. Good for families. The promenade is nice for a walk. Up north end of the bay is where the Cleveland Way starts, if you're up for a proper hike. The Brigg is good for rock pooling.

Drive ten minutes south and you're at Bempton Cliffs, the RSPB reserve. It's famous for puffins and other seabirds. Flamborough Head is there too, just cliffs and sea really. Impressive.

Scarborough is about fifteen minutes by car. Whitby's maybe forty minutes. Bridlington about twenty. If you fancy a city day, York is an hour's drive. The North York Moors are right there too, about half an hour inland.

Stuff in the house: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We include all the bed linen and towels. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
