Deja Blue

Deja Blue is a first-floor apartment in Filey. It's spacious, which is unusual for a flat for two, so you don't feel on top of each other. The living room has a sea view, and you can see the church opposite.

It's decorated nicely and kept clean. It's got a 4-star rating.

The location is quiet, but you're right in the middle of things. The shop and a few places to eat are around the corner, about a minute's walk. The beach is a five-minute stroll down the hill.

Filey beach is good. Long, wide sand. When the tide's out, you can walk for miles. The Cleveland Way footpath ends here, so you can walk south along the cliffs. The Crescent Gardens are nearby too, just up from the beach.

Flamborough Head is a short drive up the coast. The RSPB reserve there is worth a visit if you like birdwatching. You can see puffins in season. RSPB Flamborough Head.

Scarborough is about fifteen minutes north by car if you want more shops or the castle. For a day out, the North York Moors are inland, maybe forty minutes' drive. York is about an hour.

Facilities: there's a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. Parking is on-street, you usually find a space nearby.
