Padgett Lodge is in Gristhorpe. That's about a mile from the centre of Filey. The property is part of a small group of holiday cottages.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so everything works and it's clean, but it's not luxury. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy.
Outside, there's a shared lawn out the front for everyone staying in the cottages. There's also a shared games room and a kids' play area.
You're about a ten minute drive from Filey beach. It's a long, sandy beach. You've got the town there too, which is a proper old-fashioned seaside place. The local pub is about a mile's walk from the cottage.
If you want to explore, you're in a good spot. The North York Moors are right there for walking. Scarborough is about fifteen minutes south by car. Whitby is further north, maybe forty minutes’ drive. The Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering is about half an hour inland.
What's here: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
