Padgett Lodge is one of a small group of cottages near Filey. It's in Gristhorpe, about a mile from the coast. The cottages share a grassed area out the front and there's a communal games room and play area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star cottage, so it's clean and has what you need. Everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.
The facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher, bedding is included, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog. There's a TV and wifi.
There's a pub about a mile away in the village. For a shop, you'll need to drive into Filey, which is about three miles.
Filey beach is good, a long stretch of sand. The town itself is a proper old-fashioned seaside place. From there, you can walk south along the cliff tops towards Bridlington, or north onto the Filey Brigg.
If you want to explore, Scarborough is about a 15 minute drive south. The North York Moors are inland, maybe a 20 minute drive to get up onto the hills. For a day out, Whitby is about half an hour away up the coast.
