Mullins Cottage is up at Lebberston Carr Farm, down a country lane near Filey. It's one of two cottages converted from an old granary. The owners live on site but they leave you to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's got the original oak beams and the granary steps, which are quite steep.
There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub. Inside, there's a wood burner for colder nights. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
It's a quiet, rural spot. The shop is a mile away. The nearest pub is two miles, in Gristhorpe.
Filey beach is about two and a half miles away. It's a good, sandy beach with a proper promenade. For walking, you're not far from the Cleveland Way and the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
You can drive to Scarborough or Bridlington in about twenty minutes. Whitby and the North York Moors National Park are within half an hour. The RSPB site at Bembton Cliffs is very close, if you like seabirds.
No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust for Yorkshire site has good information.
