Rievaulx Cottage is in Gristhorpe, which is about three miles from Filey. It's one of a few cottages on a small development. They share a front lawn and a games room, but your own cottage and its garden are private.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom on the ground floor and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. Everything is on one level which is handy.
Filey is about a ten minute drive away. It's a proper old-school seaside town with a long sandy beach and Filey Brigg. The beach is good for walking, the water's okay for swimming if you're hardy. There's a golf course and you can get fishing trips from the harbour.
The cottage has its own patio and garden with a barbecue. Inside it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. You can bring one dog.
For getting out, the North York Moors start not far away. You can be at Dalby Forest in about twenty minutes for walking or cycling. Scarborough is fifteen minutes south along the coast. Whitby is about forty minutes north if you fancy a drive.
