Rievaulx Cottage is on a site in Gristhorpe. It's one of a small group of cottages. There's a shared lawn at the front, but you get your own patio and garden area.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, just not luxury. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. TV and WiFi are included. Bedding is provided too. You can bring up to two dogs.
The site has a games room and a kids' play area, which are shared with the other cottages.
You're a mile from the nearest pub. For a shop, you'll need to drive into Filey, which is about three miles away. Filey's a proper old-fashioned seaside town with a long sandy beach. The North York Moors National Park starts not far from here.
If you're driving, Scarborough is about fifteen minutes south. Whitby is under half an hour north. The National Trust Yorkshire Coast page is good for ideas. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is about a twenty-five minute drive.
There's parking right outside the cottage.
