Malrose is in Filey. It's a terraced house on a quiet street, about five minutes walk from the town centre and the beach. You can hear the gulls from the garden.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean, not modernised. The rooms are a good size. There are two sitting rooms, which is handy if people want to do different things.
The beach is down the hill. It's a long, sandy one with a proper Victorian promenade. Filey is where the Cleveland Way ends, so you can start some good cliff walks from here. The train and bus station are very close, which is useful.
Bridlington is about ten miles down the coast. Scarborough is eight miles north, and Whitby is about half an hour's drive. The North York Moors are inland, maybe a twenty-five minute drive to get into the proper scenery. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is very close, under ten minutes by car. People go to see the seabirds on the cliffs.
For facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's space to store bikes. No pets, sorry.
