Wolf's Den
Wolf's Den is in Primrose Valley, near Filey. It's an end-terraced cottage in The Bay holiday village, which is basically a big site with a lot of facilities. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One double, one twin. Both have a TV. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The living area is open plan, with French doors out to a small patio. The decor has a bit of a nautical theme. There's a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime access. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
You get access to The Bay's facilities. That means there's an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room on site. There's a shop and a cafe five minutes away. There's also a small lake, tennis, archery, and a boules pitch outside the door. Some activities need to be booked.
It's a short walk to the beach at Filey Bay. The town of Filey itself is a nice walk along the shore. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside place with a promenade and gardens.
Bridlington is the other way. Flamborough Head is about twenty minutes away by car for some fantastic coastal walks. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is up there too, if you like seabirds. Golf courses are nearby if that's your thing.
For a day out, you can drive into the North York Moors. York is about an hour away. Local stately homes like Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are within half an hour.
The cottage has parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
