The Bay - Sandy Bay Beach House is a lodge on The Bay holiday park in Primrose Valley. It’s a detached place. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get a private parking space and an outdoor seating area. Inside, it’s open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner. It's all on one level, so no stairs.
The park has facilities. There's an indoor pool, a gym, a sauna, and tennis courts. In the summer there are organised activities for kids, like archery or face painting. There's a pub on site that serves food, and a café.
The beach is about a ten minute walk. It's a long, sandy beach that goes all the way to Filey. Dogs are allowed, we take two. The beach is flat and good for walking.
Filey is the nearest town, about a mile and a half. It's a traditional sort of seaside place. There's a big supermarket, shops, and places to eat. Scarborough and Bridlington are both within a 20 minute drive if you want something busier, with more attractions like the SeaLife Centre.
If you like birdwatching, the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about a 15 minute drive. You can see puffins and other seabirds from the clifftops. In season, you can get a boat from Bridlington to see them up close.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included.
