Molly's Place
Molly's Place is on a quiet street in Filey. It's a two minute walk to the beach. The house sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One king-size bed and two singles. The beds have those old fashioned knobs on them.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's one bathroom, with a bath that has a shower over it. The kitchen is galley style, so it's long and narrow. It has an oven, hob, washing machine and a slow cooker. There's a separate dining room and a living room with two sofas and a Smart TV.
Outside is a small enclosed courtyard. There's seating, a charcoal BBQ, and we leave a storage box out there with some deck chairs and beach toys you can use.
Filey beach is very good. It's a big sandy beach so it never feels too crowded even when it's busy. The town has the usual seaside things: cafes, a few restaurants, pubs, and shops. Up the coast you've got Bridlington and Scarborough.
If you want to go further out, Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes by car. It's an RSPB reserve for seabirds. The Yorkshire Wolds are inland for walking. The North York Moors are about a 45 minute drive. York is around an hour's drive.
For facilities, we include bedding and towels. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The house is pet friendly, for one well-behaved dog. There are grab rails and a seat in the shower, which some people find useful.
