North Sea Views is in a cul-de-sac on Knipe Point, just south of Scarborough. It's a detached bungalow. The main thing is the view, it looks straight out over the fields and the sea. You get the whole garden to yourself. The patio doors open right onto a deck, so you can sit outside and take it in.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one kingsize and one double. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so everything is in good order. Being all on one level makes it straightforward.
The Cleveland Way path is right there on the doorstep for coastal walks. There are steps down from the cliff top to the beach, about a five minute walk. The beach is shingle and rock pools, so it's more for exploring than sandcastles.
Scarborough centre is a couple of miles away for shops and the usual seafront things. For a good sandy beach, Filey is about a fifteen minute drive south. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is close, good for seeing puffins. Flamborough Head with the lighthouse is also within half an hour.
Inland, you can be on the edge of the North York Moors National Park in twenty minutes. Thornton-le-Dale is a nice village to start from. Castle Howard is about forty minutes' drive.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. The shed has some deckchairs and beach bits you can use. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
