Scarborough Esplanade
Scarborough Esplanade is a mid-terrace Victorian house. It sleeps twelve, so it's good for a big family or a few friends. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
It's on a main road just back from the seafront. At the bottom of the street, the sea is right there. You can walk down through the Italian Gardens or catch the cliff tramway down to South Bay beach. It's handy, but it is a town centre location, so there's some traffic.
The space is generous, with high ceilings and original features like fireplaces. We've kept it in that style. It has a woodburning stove for colder evenings, which works well. There's a dishwasher and washing machine, parking for two cars on the driveway, and storage for bikes.
You can bring one dog. We include bedding and towels.
Everything is close by. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops within a few minutes' walk. Peasholm Park is about a ten minute stroll, which is nice for a walk. The castle is up on the headland between the two bays.
