Scarborough Wave
Scarborough Wave is a house in Scarborough. It sleeps eight people, two to a room in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.
The living room is open plan with the dining area, so it's a good space for everyone to be together. The kitchen is through an archway. It has what you need. We've had no complaints.
Parking is the main thing to know. There's a garage attached to the house you can use, and a space in front of it. That's a real help as street parking is difficult here in the season.
You're close to things. There's a small shop a few doors down. The train station, pubs, restaurants, and the main shops are all about a five or ten minute walk away.
The beach is about three quarters of a mile. You've got both the North and South Bays. South Bay is busier, with the funfair and more going on. North Bay is a bit quieter, has the Sea Life Centre and those colourful beach huts. You can walk the promenade between them.
Other things nearby: Peasholm Park is lovely for a stroll, you can hire boats on the lake. The castle is up on the headland. The English Heritage site has visiting information. There's the Alpamare waterpark with outdoor pools, and the theatres if that's your thing.
For days out, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are along the coast. The North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep for walking.
The house has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
Up to four dogs are welcome. There's no garden here, but a lot of the local beaches have dog-friendly sections and the moors are great for walks.
